Privacy Policy
Effective July 12, 2026. Grady is a product of Consultspot, Inc.
Grady is a scheduling assistant used by construction general contractors (our customers) to coordinate work schedules with their subcontractors. This policy covers two groups of people: members of a customer's team who hold Grady accounts, and subcontractors whom Grady contacts on a customer's behalf. Questions about anything here: adish@callgrady.com.
What we collect
- From account holders: name, work email, role, login credentials (passwords are handled by our authentication provider and never stored by us directly), notification preferences, and actions taken in the app.
- About subcontractors, provided by the customer or by the subcontractor: name, company, trade, phone number, schedule assignments, the content of calls and text messages with Grady (including call recordings and transcripts), opt-in and opt-out records, and schedule reliability statistics.
- Automatically: message delivery status, call duration and outcomes, usage metering used for billing, and technical logs.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We store only non-sensitive references such as a customer identifier and whether a card is on file, never card numbers.
How we use information
- To do Grady's job: sending schedules, making confirmation and check-in calls, sending and receiving texts on the customer's behalf, and turning responses into schedule updates and alerts.
- AI models help interpret schedules, messages, and call transcripts. AI outputs that change a schedule are shown to the customer's team for confirmation.
- Billing, support, security, and abuse prevention.
- We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
SMS program (Grady)
Grady sends text messages on behalf of general contractors to their subcontractors. The program works like this:
- What we send: weekly work schedules, schedule confirmation requests, reminders, and replies to messages you send. No marketing or promotional messages.
- Opt-in: you receive messages only after you agree by replying YES to an enrollment text that describes the program.
- Message frequency varies with your work schedule and is typically 1 to 5 messages per week.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Opting out: reply STOP at any time to stop all calls and texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact adish@callgrady.com.
- No third-party marketing use: mobile opt-in data, phone numbers, and SMS consent information are not shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with our text-message delivery provider, solely to deliver the messages described above.
Calls, recordings, and consent
Grady never calls or texts a subcontractor before they opt in. Every call begins by identifying Grady and stating that the call may be recorded. Saying you want to stop during a call, or texting STOP, stops all contact immediately.
How long we keep things
- Call recordings and transcripts: 90 days, then deleted.
- In-app notifications: 180 days. Audit logs: 365 days.
- Schedule, contact, and consent records: for the life of the customer relationship. Opt-out records are kept even after other data is deleted, because honoring an opt-out requires remembering it.
Service providers
We use a small set of providers to run Grady: Amazon Web Services (hosting, database, telephony, call recordings, email), Anthropic (AI interpretation of schedules, messages, and transcripts), Twilio (text-message delivery), and Stripe (payments). Each receives only what it needs to provide its service.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, the database is not reachable from the public internet, and access is role-scoped and logged. No system is perfect; if a breach affects you, we will notify as required by law.
Your choices
Subcontractors can reply STOP to end all contact and can ask the general contractor to correct or delete their information. Account holders can manage their data in the app, including deleting their account. For anything else, email adish@callgrady.com.
Children
Grady is a workplace tool and is not directed at anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update this page and the effective date above.
